Some pictures of this often unsung Derbyshire Independent, when it still employed the dignified maroon and red livery. Nowadays, the maroon has given way to white, under the branded route name "The Black Cat", with joint working alongside TrentBarton but I have to say I preferred the old scheme by a mile!
DTN 958 W was a Leyland Leopard PSU3 / Plaxton Supreme IV Express bought by Felix during the post-deregulation chaos. It is seen here in Corporation Street, Derby, coming in on the 13.00h ex Ilkeston, on Fri. 28 Nov. 1986.
